Joint Readiness Training Exercise is a demonstration of an airfield seizure by elements of the 82nd ABN DIV and the US Air Force. It features F-16 and A-10 USAF bombers, an infantry brigade task force simulation of an assualt mission to take down airfield control towers. Below are photos of this event at Sicily Drop Zone on Ft. Bragg, which was open to the public, May 28, 2004. Thousands turned out to rig up, watch the paratroopers jump and put on face paint as they participated in the unique experience of the 82nd ABN.
